Chairman
Marvin N. Schoenhals
Marvin N. Schoenhals is Chairman and past President and Chief Executive Officer of WSFS Financial Corporation and WSFS Bank in Wilmington, Delaware, positions he has held since October 1990.
Mr. Schoenhals is active in several professional, business, and advisory organizations as well as community affairs. Locally, he is Chairman of the Sunday Breakfast Mission, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Delaware Business Roundtable and co-chairs the Roundtables’ Education Committee. He is Chairman of Vision 2015, a coalition of Delaware leaders that created and are implementing a plan to make Delaware public education the best in the world. He serves on the Board of Burris Logistics as Chairman, served as Chairman until December 2007 of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh--a $70 billion institution--and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Curry School of Education Foundation. Mr. Schoenhals is a past Chairman of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and past member of the Board of Directors of Wilmington Renaissance, the Wilmington Housing Partnership, the Delaware Family Foundation, and the United Way of Delaware, Inc.
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mark A. Turner
Mark A. Turner is President and CEO of WSFS Financial Corporation. Mr. Turner was previously Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Financial Officer for WSFS. Prior to joining WSFS, he worked at other regional banking organizations, including the Corporate Development Department of Meridian Bancorp, Inc. Mr. Turner started his career at the international professional services firm of KPMG, LLP.
Mr. Turner received his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Turner also received his Master’s in Executive Leadership from a unique degree program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, co-sponsored by the Gallup Organization. Mr. Turner graduated from LaSalle University in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management. He received his CPA in 1987.
Mr. Turner serves on the Boards of Directors of the Delaware Bankers Association (Chairman), the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce (Executive Committee), the Delaware Community Foundation (Finance Committee member and past Chairman), the Lincoln Club of Delaware and the WSFS Foundation. Mr. Turner is a member of the American Bankers’ Association Government Relations Council, the Board of Trustees of Christiana Care, Inc., and the Delaware Business Roundtable.
Executive Vice Predident and Chief Financial Officer
Stephen A. Fowle
Stephen A. Fowle was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in January 2005. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Fowle was Chief Financial Officer at Third Federal Savings and Loan Association of Cleveland, MHC, in Cleveland, Ohio. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Fowle was Vice President of Corporate Finance at Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a regional investment banking firm.
Executive Vice President and Director of Commercial Banking
Rodger Levenson
Rodger Levenson joined WSFS in November 2006 as the Executive Vice President and Director of Commercial Banking. Mr. Levenson came to WSFS with over 20 years of leadership experience in commercial banking. He had previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Specialized Lending for Citizens Bank and Senior Vice President and Managing Director at Wachovia Bank in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Executive Vice President and Director of Retail Banking & Marketing
Richard M. Wright
Richard M. Wright has served as Executive Vice President and Director of Retail Banking since March 2006. In January 2008, Mr. Wright assumed the position of Director of Marketing. Prior to joining WSFS he was Executive Vice President Retail Banking and Marketing at DNB First (Downingtown, PA) from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Firstrust Bank (Conshohocken, PA) from 1995 to 2003. Mr. Wright’s other experience includes retail banking and marketing positions at Mellon Bank (Philadelphia, PA), Saudi Hollandi Bank (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), Old Kent Bank (Grand Rapids, MI) and Sears Savings Bank (Glendale, CA). He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Council on Economic Education and the Delaware Humane Association. Mr. Wright holds a B.A. in Marketing and Economics from Cal State Fullerton and an M.B.A. from USC.
Executive Vice President and Director of WSFS Trust & Wealth Management
Richard J. Immesberger
Richard J. Immesberger joined WSFS in August 2008 as the Executive Vice President of WSFS Wealth Strategies. Mr. Immesberger has assumed overall direction for the WSFS Wealth Strategies business line and brings more than 20 years of private banking and wealth management experience. Prior to joining WSFS, Mr. Immesberger was Senior Vice President at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Immesberger graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Investments from Baruch College, City University of New York. In addition, he graduated with honors from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. Over his career, he has served on many not-for-profit boards including the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ and the Charlotte Trolley.
Executive Vice President and Director of Human Capital Management
Peggy H. Eddens
Peggy H. Eddens was appointed Executive Vice President and Director of Human Capital Management in September 2007. Prior to joining WSFS, she served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Development at NexTier Bank in Butler, Pa from 2003-2007. Her financial services career began in Pittsburgh at Mellon Bank where she held a variety of training and human resources management positions, culminating in her role as First Vice President and Regional Human Resources Director at Citizens Bank following the merger. She received her MS in Human Resource Management from LaRoche College and her BS from Robert Morris University
Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
S. James Mazarakis
Jim Mazarakis joined WSFS in February 2010, bringing with him nearly 30 years of experience in banking, investment management and brokerage services. He served on senior leadership teams, both as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for T. Rowe Price, and Managing Director and Divisional CIO at J.P. Morgan Investment Asset Management. He also worked on large scale international projects and merger and acquisition teams at Capital One Financial and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Mazarakis has led organizations as large as 1080 people and managed budgets exceeding $240 million. His experience includes heading teams in the US, Japan, Hong Kong, India, and living and working in London as an expatriate for Goldman Sachs, where he assisted in building a European Client Services support organization.
Mr. Mazarakis graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science degree in Management of Technology from Polytechnic Institute of New York University. He is frequently quoted in technology publications and was recognized in 2007 by Information Week as a Top 10 Innovator for his work at T. Rowe Price. Mr. Mazarakis is the Vice Chairman of the Maryland/DC Audubon Society and serves on the Technology Advisory Board of the United Way of Central Maryland.

Charles G. Cheleden
Charles G. Cheleden is an Attorney at Law with emphasis on Estate Planning, Trusts, Estate Settlement and Elder Law. Mr. Cheleden serves as the Vice Chairman and Lead Director of the Board of Directors, former Chairman of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee, and
former Chairman of the Audit and Personnel and Compensation Committees. Mr. Cheleden is the former Chairman, President and CEO of Liberty Savings Bank, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the former Chairman of Manor College, Jenkintown, Pennsylvania and Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Cheleden has a J.D. Degree from Temple University Law School and a B.S. from Villanova University.
John F. Downey
Mr. Downey was Executive Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS), retiring in 1998.
Linda C. Drake
As founder and chair of TCIM Services, Inc., Linda Drake has received numerous awards, including the coveted Pioneer Award from the American Teleservices Association, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the region, and the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year for the State of Delaware. Mrs. Drake serves on the Corporate Governance and Nominating, the Personnel and Compensation, and Trust Committees. She is a Member of the Corporate Advisory Council for Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), Board Member of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Mrs. Drake is also a member of the American Teleservices Association, The Committee of 200, and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
David E. Hollowell
Mr. Hollowell is an Executive Vice President and University Treasurer Emeritus at the University of Delaware.
Joseph R. Julian
Mr. Julian is the CEO of JJID, Inc., a heavy and highway contractor company located in Bear, Delaware.
Dennis E. Klima
Mr. Klima is President and CEO of Bayhealth, Inc., and President, CEO and Chairman of the Bayhealth Medical Center, Inc.
Calvert A. Morgan, Jr.
Mr. Morgan is the Vice Chairman of WSFS Bank. He is the retired Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of PNC Bank, Delaware. Mr. Morgan is a member of the Delaware Economic and Financial Advisory Council. He is also a director of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE).
Thomas P. Preston
Mr. Preston is the Managing Partner of the Wilmington office of Blank Rome LLP, and specializes in corporate and commercial litigation. He is also Chair of the Board of Trustees of St. Francis Hospital and the incoming President of the Board of Trustees of the Tatnall School. He is also on the Board of The Wellness Community of Delaware.

Mr. Reed is a retired Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of BB&T Corporation.
Claibourne D. Smith
Dr. Smith was named Delaware State Acting President on August 20, 2008. A member of the DSU Board of Trustees since 1987, Dr. Smith served as chairman since 1993.
Dr. Smith was Vice President, Technology and Professional Development and Vice Chairman, Corporate Educational Aid for E.I. duPont de Nemours & Company, Inc., retiring in 1998 after 34 years.
Dr. Smith is also a member of the board of directors, Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League.
Jennifer Wagner Davis
Mrs. Davis is the Vice President of Administration at the University of Delaware providing leadership for the University’s human resources functions, including personnel supervision, labor relations, planning, program and staff development and evaluation. Prior to her current position, Ms. Davis was Cabinet Secretary – Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for the State of Delaware. Ms. Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Masters of Science in Policy Analysis from Pennsylvania State University.
Donald W. Delson
Mr. Delson is a Senior Advisor at Keefe, Bruyette, & Woods, Inc. Previously Mr. Delson was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Group at KBW. Prior to his career at KBW, Mr. Delson was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Group at Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc. Mr. Delson has a Bachelor of Arts in History (with Honors) from Brown University. He attended Harvard Business School where he received a Masters of Business Administration and graduated as a Baker Scholar. In addition, he received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia.
R. Ted Weschler
R. Ted Weschler is the Managing Partner of Peninsula Capital Advisors, LLC, a private investment firm. Prior to starting Peninsula, Mr. Weschler was a founding partner of Quad-C, a private equity firm, and an associate with W. R. Grace & Co. where he held several key management positions. Mr. Weschler attended college at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1983, with a B.S. in Economics and concentrations in Finance and Accounting.
