Marvin N. Schoenhals - Chairman
Marvin N. Schoenhals is Chairman and past President and Chief Executive Officer of WSFS Financial Corporation and WSFS Bank in Wilmington, Delaware, positions he has held since October 1992.
Mr. Schoenhals is active in several professional, business, and advisory organizations as well as community affairs. He serves on the Board of Burris Logistics as Chairman, served as Chairman until December 2007 of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh—a $70 billion institution—and is a board member of the Curry School of Education Foundation. Locally, he is Chairman of the Delaware Public Policy Institute and the Sunday Breakfast Mission, as well as, a member of the board of directors of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Delaware Business Roundtable and co-chairs the Roundtables’ Education Committee. Schoenhals is a past Chairman of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and past member of the board of directors of Wilmington Renaissance, the Wilmington Housing Partnership, the Delaware Family Foundation, and the United Way of Delaware, Inc. He is Chairman of Vision 2015, a coalition of Delaware leaders that created and are implementing a plan to make Delaware public education the best in the world.
