Alexis Santoleri Embraces WSFS’ Culture and Learning Opportunities to Grow Her Career

After working at another bank as Head Teller for a few years, Alexis Santoleri decided it was time to make a change and was drawn to WSFS by its culture.

“The atmosphere was different than my previous job, and everyone I came across at WSFS seemed to love their job and enjoyed helping others in their community,” she said. “There was more of a focus on needs-based selling as well, which is extremely important to me, and I was very excited to work for a company that put the needs of its Customers and Associates first.”

From her start at WSFS as a Personal Banker a little more than five years ago, Santoleri has grown her skillset and responsibilities as she moved up the ranks to her current position as Assistant Branch Manager and New Hire Manager for WSFS’ Brandywine Valley Region.

“One of the benefits of working at WSFS was being able to grow and evolve alongside a Company that is constantly growing and evolving as well,” she said. “When I started, my responsibilities as a Personal Banker were focused on transactions and making recommendations to Customers to help them reach their financial goals.”

Santoleri quickly found there were an abundance of educational opportunities to help grow her responsibilities and career at WSFS.

As she has expanded her own skills, Santoleri has also had the opportunity to educate her fellow Associates and assist them in building their careers at the Bank.

“In my current role, I have the opportunity to coach Personal Bankers on how to deepen relationships with Customers and provide excellent Customer service,” Santoleri said. “I also serve as the New Hire Manager, where I have the opportunity to play a large role in the professional development of our new Associates and help guide them toward exemplifying our mantra, ‘We Stand For Service,’ in their everyday interactions with Customers and fellow Associates.”

After more than five years with WSFS, Santoleri has found herself still embracing the opportunities to learn, and the Bank to be more than a place to work, but rather a place to build a successful career.

“My favorite part about working for WSFS is always having the opportunity to learn more and advance in my career,” she said. “WSFS offers multiple classes and programs you can enroll in to further your education or just to use as a refresher.”
